An Ornament Origin Story!: "What's in the Box?" Holiday Special
What's in the Box? Join me as I explore a special Holiday themed box.
Spend your holidays at the Ainsley House! We have been hosting holiday festivities for over 25 years (see you in 2021!). All 15 rooms are decorated by volunteers in an over-the-top fashion that you wish you could do at home! Tickets to our open house events help support the Campbell Museums with exhibits, education, and conservation. https://www.campbellmuseums.com/ainsley-house
Museum artifacts have many stories they can tell! You can explore what materials they are made of, how they were made, who made them, how they were used, or how they changed society – and so much more! Think of this video as the abridged history behind Christmas Tree ornaments, where I explore just a few chapters of its story.
I challenge you to look at the objects around you and think about all the stories they have to tell!
This video is part of our "What's in the Box" series, so check-out the "what's in the box" playlist for more.
