Ren Geisick
Sunday, October 12, 2025
Join us for an enchanting afternoon of live music in the beautiful Ainsley House Garden.
Ren grew up in Los Gatos and graduated with a degree in Jazz Vocal Performance from The Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at Cal-State Long Beach. In 2017, she released her debut album Ren, Love Song produced by folk/pop powerhouse Jesse Harris, which signaled a move from straight-ahead jazz towards a more Americana sound and featured some of Ren's original music. Ren, Love Song signaled a new chapter with performances in Nashville and New York City and a clear focus on songwriting.
During the Pandemic, Ren taught her herself how to play ukulele and guitar and began live-streaming performances from home. In January 2022, she released Ruby EP, inspired by the life and catchphrases of her Grandma Ruby from Oklahoma. Ren is putting the final touches on a new album for a 2025 release. Recorded with her band in Brisbane, CA, this new album features songs about outlaws, heartache, and mercy. Celebrating country, jazz, blues, and soul music, Ren's new album is the most authentic version of herself to exist in recorded form. When she is not recording or performing, Ren teaches jazz voice at San Jose State University.
