Key Ingredients explores how Californians have acquired, preserved, and cooked food throughout the decades. Personal narratives and illustrated period kitchens demonstrate how the domestic roles of women have changed from the time of the Ohlone to the present day.

Campbell's general stores were a vital part of commerce in the bustling nineteenth-century town. Artifacts and photographs in this exhibit tell the story of early general stores and their roles as places of business and community gathering spaces.

The Ainsley House is open March - December. The Campbell Historical Museum is open year round. Both

museums are closed two weeks during the December holidays.
