Mothers Day Concert with 11-time Grammy Award Winner and former Santana vocalist Tony Lindsay.

An Afternoon of R&B, Jazz, and Soul

After 25 years as the lead vocalist for Santana, Tony Lindsay has

garnered 11 Grammy awards, traveled on numerous world tours, and

recorded on seven Santana CDs: Milagro (1992), Supernatural (1999),

Shaman (2002), Ceremony (2003), Food for Thought (2004), Ultimate

Santana (2007), Multi-Dimensional Warrior (2008). In addition to many

Grammy Show performances, Tony’s time with Santana included a

2003 pre-game performance at Super Bowl XXXVII where they were

joined onstage by Beyonce. In 2015, Carlos Santana decided to

change personnel in his band and set the wheels in motion for Tony to

start on his 5th solo CD "Something Beautiful". His previous solo

albums are “Different Moods" (1995), "The Message is Love" (1997),

"Tony Lindsay" and "Memoirs" (2014).

In 1980, Tony Lindsay arrived in the San Francisco Bay Area from

Kingston, New York, forming the band Spangalang. Spangalang has

opened for Curtis Mayfield, Tower of Power, Gerald Albright, Jr. Walker

, and the Average White Band. Tony still performs with Spangalang, in

addition to other bands he has helped form which include The Soul

Soldiers, Black Magic, and the Ray Charles Project.

Tony was one of four vocalists who traveled on the road tour.

The Ainsley House Garden will open at 1:30 pm.
Check-in will be at the entrance to the Garden
You do not need to bring a confirmation receipt/ There are NO printable tickets.
Seating is provided.
Refreshments will be available at 1:30 pm
This is an outdoor event. Chairs will be on turf. Please plan accordingly for the hot sun or cooler weather.
The Ainsley House Gift Shop will be open from 12 pm-4 pm.
Parking is available in the Museum /Library parking lot located at 77 Harrison Ave, Campbell, CA 95008 PLEASE NOTE: Parking is VERY limited due to the ongoing construction of the Campbell Library and new Campbell Police Station. If parking cannot be found in the direct lot, there is street parking and public parking garages on 1st St and 4th St in downtown Campbell. Only a few blocks away.
